This original RS1600 has been a race car since the late 70's, driven and prepared by a well known Portuguese race driver.
Full nut and bolt rebuilt in to group 2 FIA spec. starting from the original wide body 49 shell, fitted with the original correct Lockheed Monte Carlo brake calipers and Bilstein suspensions. It has big Atlas train and Panhard bars.
Mechanically powered by a 2.0 ltr BDG Millington engine using a Quaife gearbox and LSD.
This is an original example of a well known period racer RS1600 that is again ready for rallying.
